Job Description:
We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to join our finance team on a temporary basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for processing invoices, managing payment runs, and performing general accounts assistant duties. This role requires proficiency in Sage, with a preference for experience in Sage 200.
Key Responsibilities:
* Process and manage invoices, ensuring accuracy and timely payments.
* Conduct payment runs and manage related documentation.
* Assist with reconciling accounts and resolving discrepancies.
* Maintain accurate financial records and update internal systems.
* Support month-end and year-end close processes.
* Assist with the preparation of financial reports.
* Perform general administrative duties related to the finance department.
* Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth financial operations.
Requirements:
* Proven experience as an Accounts Assistant or in a similar role.
* Proficiency in Sage software; Sage 200 experience preferred.
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
* Excellent organizational and time management skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Ability to start immediately and commit to the duration of the contract.
