Job Overview
We are looking for a compassionate, motivated, and experienced CQC Registered Manager to join our team and lead our domiciliary care services. The ideal candidate will share our dedication to providing high-quality, person-centered care and will oversee all aspects of care delivery, staff management, compliance, and service improvement. This role requires a leader with a strong understanding of CQC regulations, exceptional organizational skills, and a genuine commitment to supporting clients and enhancing their well-being.
Duties
1. Care Quality Management: Ensure that all care services meet or exceed CQC standards, delivering high-quality, person-centered care. Conduct regular audits, quality checks, and compliance monitoring.
2. Team Leadership: Lead and support a team of carers, supervisors, and coordinators, fostering a positive and collaborative working environment. Manage staff recruitment, training, and development to maintain a skilled, motivated workforce.
3. Client Relationships: Oversee initial assessments and ensure that all care plans are tailored to meet each client's unique needs. Maintain strong, supportive relationships with clients and families, responding promptly to any concerns.
4. Compliance and Safety: Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, company policies, and best practices in health and safety. Handle all safeguarding, complaints, and incident management.
5. Service Development: Identify areas for service improvement and work with senior management to implement changes. Focus on innovation, efficiency, and growth to enhance client satisfaction and company reputation.
Qualifications:
1. Proven experience in a managerial role within domiciliary or residential care
2. Strong knowledge of CQC regulations and compliance requirements
3. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills
4. Commitment to delivering high-quality, person-centered care
5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
6. Full UK driving license and willingness to travel locally
7. Ability to develop comprehensive care plans tailored to individual client needs
8. Relevant qualifications in health or social care management (e.g., Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care) would be advantageous
