We’re currently looking for a Service and Parts Administrator to join us on a full-time, permanent basis in Plymouth to help us deliver a first-class service to customers.

What will I be doing?
As a Service and Parts Administrator, your primary responsibility is to support our Service and Parts Teams across a wide range of duties, often with tight deadlines, to deliver a high-quality service to our customers in person, over the telephone, by email and through online portals.
Whilst you support our Service Team, you will be working with our Service Supervisor and our Technical Services Manager and assisting with the following:
- Taking instructions from customers and colleagues
- Liaising with third-party agencies
- Requesting and recording customer information
- Raising Sales Orders using Sage CRM and Sage 200
- Preparing Estimates
- Providing progress reports to our customers
- Handling card payments including taking deposits
Whilst you support our Parts Team, you will be working with our Parts Assistants. You will work with Volvo Penta’s range of parts, accessories, and dealer systems, as well as Cummins Onan generators. You will be handling these parts and gaining knowledge of associated marine mechanical parts and spares.
You will be:
- Using our Stock Control system (Sage200)
- Picking stock accurately
- Dispatching parts to customers
What do I need?
To join us as a Service and Parts Administrator, you’ll need:
- Proven experience in a workshop or service environment, preferably in the maritime or automotive industries
- The ability to multi-task and prioritise in a busy, commercial environment
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong communication, time management, and IT skills
- Knowledge of marine or automotive engineering parts, accessories, and equipment (desirable but not essential)
- Interpersonal skills
- A Working knowledge of inventory management software and MS Office
- An enthusiastic, flexible attitude
