Our client, a leading global automotive manufacturing company, is seeking a Logistics Coordinator. This role involves working across 2 rotating shifts Monday to Friday: Mornings (6am-2pm) and afternoons (2pm-10pm). This role is critical in ensuring smooth coordination between customer schedules and internal logistics operations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage customer schedules ensuring accurate order processing.
2. Coordinate transport and deliveries, including handling special vehicle requirements.
3. Act as the key point of contact for customers regarding logistics and supply chain issues.
4. Support warehouse teams in resolving delivery shortages and ensure accurate shipment documentation.
5. Oversee returnable packaging management and address shortages proactively.
6. Assist with new product launches, ensuring logistics processes are in place.
What We're Looking For:
1. Experience in logistics or supply chain (automotive industry preferred).
2. Strong numeracy, communication, and IT skills (Microsoft Office, EDI, Baan/ERP).
3. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
4. A team player with excellent problem-solving skills.
5. Full clean driving licence.
