Our Regulatory Reporting function is newly established, presenting a unique opportunity for the successful candidate to help shape processes, build critical controls, and make a significant contribution as the team develops its long-term strategy. This role spans both developmental and operational aspects, providing the opportunity to work across the full front-to-back process. Your future role Working across 12 regulations, including Short Selling Disclosure, REMIT, EMIR, MAS, MIFID and Transaction Reporting, with expertise in at least one regulation required. Interpreting new regulatory requirements, documenting processes, and collaborating with Technology teams to implement and test solutions. Managing BAU tasks, including resolving exceptions within regulatory deadlines, building robust controls, and improving processes. Leading initiatives that bridge regulatory projects and BAU activities, offering a mix of strategic and operational experience. Documenting operational processes and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Staying informed about the evolving regulatory landscape and representing the firm in industry working groups or forums. Continuously assessing regulatory reporting risks and implementing changes to maintain compliance. Driving process improvements to enhance operational efficiency. Your present experience Strong understanding of European, UK, and APAC regulations, with experience delivering regulatory reports and interpreting compliance requirements. Proven expertise in regulatory reporting operations, including exception management and issue resolution. Ability to analyse regulatory texts, understand trade flows, and document processes effectively. Proactive and self-motivated, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability. Confident and effective communicator, capable of collaborating with colleagues across the organisation. Motivated by refining and enhancing operational processes. Strong technical skills, including proficiency in Excel and SQL. Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and the ability to identify and investigate irregularities.
