Job Description:
The Production Operator – Starting Operations plays a key role in supporting the production process. The Production Operator will perform tasks such as dressing laser-cut components, projection welding, stamping, and ensuring high-quality standards are met. Responsibilities also include routine maintenance of equipment, performing quality checks, and maintaining accurate production records. The Production Operator will work closely with the engineering and commercial teams to meet production targets.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Operating equipment and supporting various starting operations processes.
2. Performing routine maintenance on projection welders, stampers, and CNC lasers.
3. Following safety procedures and using personal protective equipment (PPE) appropriately.
4. Conducting quality checks and collaborating on improvement initiatives.
5. Working from basic engineering drawings and using measuring equipment.
Skills & Experience:
1. Basic skills in manufacturing or a willingness to learn.
2. Experience or interest in CNC laser cutting, bending, or forming is advantageous.
3. Ability to follow health and safety protocols.
4. Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
5. Ability to work under supervision and take on more responsibilities as skills develop.
6. Comfortable with technology and learning new processes.
