We are looking for a highly organised and proactive Shift Allocator to join our team and ensure the efficient scheduling and allocation of shifts. Job Summary: The Shift Allocator will be responsible for managing the scheduling and allocation of shifts for temporary and staff across various clients. This role requires excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. Key Responsibilities: Shift Scheduling: - Coordinate and allocate shifts for temporary staff according to client requirements. - Ensure all shifts are filled promptly and efficiently, minimising any gaps in coverage. - Communicate shift schedules to staff and clients in a timely manner. Client Liaison: - Act as the primary point of contact for clients regarding shift requirements and staffing needs. - Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their needs and ensure high levels of service. - Respond to client inquiries and resolve any issues related to shift allocations. Staff Coordination: - Maintain an up-to-date database of available staff and their respective skills, availability, and preferences. - Match staff to shifts based on their skills, experience, and client requirements. - Ensure all staff are informed of their shifts and any changes to their schedules. Administrative Duties: - Keep accurate records of shift allocations, staff availability, and client requirements. - Prepare and distribute shift rosters and any necessary documentation to staff and clients. Compliance: - Ensure all shift allocations comply with legal and company policies, including working hours, health and safety regulations, and contractual agreements.
