Global Vice President Payments Product, Funds Out – London, UK The Global Vice President Payments Product, Funds Out will lead and oversee the end-to-end strategy, operations, and optimization of outbound payments across multiple geographies and payment networks. This critical leadership role will focus on enhancing payout capabilities, expanding global disbursement options, and ensuring seamless, secure, and cost-efficient fund movement. You will work cross-functionally with product, treasury, compliance, risk, technology, and banking partners to strengthen the company’s global payments network. Western Union powers your pursuit. Key Responsibilities Develop and execute a global strategy for outbound payments, ensuring seamless, scalable, and compliant fund disbursements across various payment rails (e.g., ACH, RTP, wire transfers, card networks, blockchain, digital wallets). Expand the company’s payout network by forging partnerships with banks, payment processors, fintech's, and alternative payment providers. Drive innovation in payout capabilities, including real-time payments, cross-border transactions, and emerging payment methods. Stay ahead of market trends, regulatory changes, and new technologies to maintain a competitive edge in global network payments. Lead the funds-out operations team, ensuring high-performance transaction processing with a focus on speed, accuracy, and cost-effectiveness. Optimize global payout flows to improve transaction success rates, minimize processing costs, and enhance operational efficiency. Implement data-driven decision-making to reduce payout failures, optimize routing, and improve reconciliation processes. Work closely with treasury and liquidity management teams to ensure efficient fund movements and FX strategies. Ensure compliance with global financial regulations (e.g., AML, KYC, OFAC, PSD2, ISO 20022) in all outbound payment processes. Collaborate with risk and fraud teams to develop robust risk mitigation strategies for outbound transactions. Establish and monitor key performance metrics related to payment processing, fraud prevention, network uptime, and cost efficiency. Oversee dispute resolution and exception handling for payout-related issues. Build and lead a high-performing global network payments team, fostering innovation and operational excellence. Develop strong relationships with internal stakeholders, financial institutions, regulators, and payment partners. Present key business insights, trends, and performance reports to executive leadership. Role Requirements 15 years of experience in global payments, network payments, funds disbursement, or financial services. Proven track record in leading global payout strategies, optimizing payment routing, and expanding disbursement networks. Strong knowledge of global payment rails. Experience working with treasury, FX, and liquidity management in a high-volume payments environment. Deep understanding of payment compliance regulations/ Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and executive communication skills.
