You will be joining a leading multinational engineeringpany with an excellent reputation for its outstanding working environment and culture. Thepany is growing at an excellent rate and is developing its footprint by building a ‘centre of excellence’ for their group finance team to grow in their already established Cheshire office.
Your new role
You will be tasked initially with developing their already high performing qualified team, alongside supporting the Director of Group Reporting in the transition of building out the finance team, which is a big part of theirmercial transformation project. The role will include adhering to a strict timeline to produce a robust UK consolidated P&L month-end close, alongside management of the Group consolidation process and reporting output alongside the associatedmentary. Driving for insightful reporting and preparation and the reviewing of Group interim and statutory accounts and UK subsidiary statutory accounts will also be key in this role.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA), with previous experience of dealing withinplex accounting structures within a Share Service Centre. You'll have strongmunication skills and be able to adapt andmunicate with colleagues/stakeholders at various levels. You'll have a strong personality, producepetency and behaviour frameworks, with the ability to influence and drive decisions in a qualified team. The client has stated that they believe this would be the ideal role for a 'first time mover'.
