The Role: They are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Computing Teacher to join our forward-thinking team. You will deliver engaging and dynamic lessons to students across Key Stages 3 and 4, inspiring an interest in computer science, digital technology, and IT. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in shaping students' understanding of computing and preparing them for the digital future.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Plan and deliver high-quality computing lessons in line with the national curriculum.
2. Teach across Key Stages 3 and 4, covering topics such as programming, digital literacy, and computer science concepts.
3. Monitor and assess student progress, providing targeted feedback to ensure achievement.
4. Support the development of key computing skills and critical thinking in students.
5. Contribute to the development of the Computing curriculum and resources.
6. Create an inclusive and positive learning environment for all students.
What We Are Looking For:
1. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
2. Strong subject knowledge in Computing, with the ability to deliver lessons confidently across KS3 and KS4.
3. Experience or interest in teaching programming, coding, and computer science concepts.
4. Passion for technology and a commitment to inspiring students.
5. Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to motivate learners of all abilities.
6. A team player who is eager to contribute to the department's growth and success.
