Job summary We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Advanced Healthcare Science Practitioner to lead the Home Video Telemetry Service within our Neurophysiology team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the service, including managing patient appointments, referrals and recordings. Additionally, you will assist with the day to day management of the Clinical Neurophysiology service. Assist with the daily management of the Neurophysiology service, including scheduling appointments, oversee workload distribution, monitor stock levels, assist with financial data and archive EEG data. Perform a range of neurophysiological investigations, from basic tests to highly specialised procedures including EEG, NCS, evoked potential, MSLT / PSG, video telemetry, for a wide range of patients with diverse clinical conditions. Full training will be given for more complex investigations. The department is also actively involved in student training at STP and apprenticeship levels and you would be expected to be part of this. An on-call rota operates at weekend and bank holidays between the hours of 9am-5pm.
