Due to continued growth of the Controls Business Unit, an excellent opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic Controls Administrator to join the team, supporting increased workload. The role includes a wide range of responsibilities supporting the entire team, helping to ensure we achieve on a day-to-day basis while also ensuring our customers receive an excellent level of customer service, adhering to the 80/20 business strategy. We are looking for a strong communicator, who has experience in a customer service role and enjoys thriving in a busy, team-focused environment.
Role Requirements
* Work closely with customers and Airedale staff, both internally and externally.
* Liaise with customers to schedule Controls engineer site visits in line with Controls Project resource requirements.
* Organising the engineer’s schedule, moving around jobs to ensure that the most economical way to release engineers to site is used.
* Ordering of parts, tooling, and equipment on SAP for site visits and engineers.
* Updating the P and L sheets, ensuring the team has full visibility on the profitability of each order.
* Producing risk and method statements for site works.
* Providing Controls engineers with job packs for their works, including RAMS, SVR’s, Electrical Schematics, Control Software, Manuals, Des Ops, etc.
* Invoicing of projects upon their completion.
* Answering the telephone, offering a level of support, taking messages, or passing the call over to the relevant member of staff.
* Answering emails to customers, which may involve asking others to have input on the more technical side of the email.
* General assistance with the day-to-day operation of the Controls Business Unit.
* Running Medius reports.
* Small quotations working with the Controls Sales Team to ensure that the correct price is quoted.
* Assist in the updating of systems with regards to the flow of work in the department.
Skills & Experience
* Strong administration skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
* Strong SAP experience.
* Experience of operating in a busy environment.
* Ability to multi-task and prioritise tasks accordingly.
* Strong communication skills including an excellent telephone manner with the ability to gain the correct information from the customer and internal staff.
* Competent PC skills (SAP and Microsoft Office).
* Strong teamwork skills and ability to operate in a large team.
* Proactive and enthusiastic personality.
