Job Description The role of the Mechanical Quantity Surveyor will be pivotal to Irwin M&Es ongoing growth and success and the job role will include: Working alongside Contract Managers/Supervisors in planning, scheduling and carrying out work Liaising, negotiating and relationship building with clients and consultants on an ongoing basis Arrange and carry out regular QS meetings with clients to ensure measures are agreed promptly and proactively Preparation of pre-measured budget costs and preparation of measurement for final account/interim valuations Contract administration and cost control Dealing with client queries and negotiation of valuations/measurements Attend meetings and undertake site visits Essential Criteria C&G Level 2&3 in Mechanical Engineering Services Working knowledge of current Health and Safety Legislation IT literate, e.g.
