We’re looking for a Global Director of Value Added Products to join our team from one of our offices across Europe Westfalia Fruit is seeking an exceptional Global Director of Value Added to lead the strategic growth and operational excellence of our Value Added product line across all markets. This role is central to shaping our global strategy, fostering innovation, and delivering sustainable solutions that align with Westfalia’s vision of market leadership. As a key member of the Executive Leadership Team, you will work closely with regional teams to expand market share, enhance operational efficiency, and champion our commitment to sustainability. As the Global Director of Value Added, you will: Define and implement a global strategy for Value Added products that aligns with corporate goals and sustainability initiatives. Oversee production, supply chain, and distribution globally, ensuring excellence, compliance, and cost-effectiveness. Develop global sales strategies, strengthen client relationships, and expand market reach. Collaborate with R&D to enhance the product range and successfully launch offerings across diverse markets. Build and lead a high-performing global team, fostering collaboration and innovation across regions. Integrate environmental and social responsibility into every facet of the Value Added category. Analyse performance metrics, market trends, and consumer insights to inform strategic decisions. Requirements Essential Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field (MBA preferred). Extensive leadership experience in commercial and operational roles, including global P&L responsibility. Proven success in managing Value Added product lines or similar operations across multiple regions. Expertise in global food industry trends, sustainability, and regulatory requirements. Exceptional leadership and team development skills, with experience leading diverse teams across cultures and geographies. Strategic vision with advanced analytical and financial acumen. Outstanding communication and relationship-building abilities. Desirable Experience in emerging markets or global expansion. Fluency in additional European or global languages. Expertise in integrating sustainability into business strategies. Knowledge of automation and technological advancements in food production.
