Job Description:
The Best Connection is looking for experienced van drivers for a variety of clients based in Milton Keynes. The desired candidate must be local and live within the Milton Keynes/Buckingham area.
You must hold a valid category B UK licence with no more than 6 points.
All our van positions are available during the day with different start times.
Pay rates can vary depending on the role and experience.
Responsibilities:
1. Safely and efficiently operate a delivery vehicle to transport goods to customers.
2. Follow assigned routes and schedules to ensure timely deliveries.
3. Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and securing of items.
4. Communicate with customers in a courteous and professional manner.
5. Perform basic maintenance checks on the vehicle and report any issues or malfunctions.
6. Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while operating the vehicle.
Qualifications:
1. A Full Valid UK Licence with Category B
2. Must have at least a year of HGV Category B driving experience.
3. Must have previous multidrop driving experience.
4. Good knowledge of the UK roads
5. Clear and concise communication skills
