What you will do:
* Provide a comprehensive social work service within a wide range of settings, following relevant legislation, and supporting children, young people, families, and groups.
* Develop and maintain strong professional relationships through direct casework, ensuring the needs of children and their families are met effectively.
* Identify, assess, and manage risks related to child protection, acting swiftly to advise senior managers where necessary.
* Champion good practice, contributing ideas and taking a lead in specialised areas of responsibility.

* Maximise available resources to ensure value for money in care packages and make sure service users are aware of complaint procedures.

* Communicate clearly in various settings, from case conferences to court, representing clients and the department as needed.
* Work collaboratively within multi-agency settings, negotiating roles and responsibilities effectively.
