Job Description: Level 2 Nursery Nurse

Job Duties:
1. Provide high-quality care and education for children aged 0-5 years
2. Plan and implement activities based on the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum
3. Observe and assess children's development and progress
4. Work in partnership with parents and carers
5. Maintain a safe and stimulating environment for children
6. Support children with personal care routines
Required Qualifications:
7. Level 2 qualification in Childcare or Early Years Education
8. Valid DBS check
9. Paediatric First Aid certificate
10. Knowledge of the EYFS framework
Education:
11. GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
Experience:
12. Minimum of 1 year experience working in a nursery or early years setting
13. Experience of working with children aged 0-5 years
Knowledge and Skills:
14. Understanding of child development and learning through play
15. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
16. Ability to work effectively in a team
17. Good organisational skills
Preferred Qualifications:
18. Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years Education
Working Conditions:
19. Work hours: Full-Time, Monday to Friday
20. Temporary position with the possibility of extension
