In a nutshell…
Our client is looking to expand their Service Division to support their field engineers and assign work for specific projects including installations, servicing and repair. You will play a crucial role liaising with clients, technicians and internal technical teams in order to provide a first-class service and support to customers across the UK.
What's involved for the Assistant Service Manager…
1. Provide first time fix solutions over the phone
2. Assign work to engineers throughout the UK
3. Liaise with subcontractors
4. Deal with clients on a daily basis
5. Multitask and prioritise jobs accordingly
6. Work closely with inventory teams to ensure parts are available
7. Ability to recognise patterns in warranty work
8. Understanding of wiring diagrams advantageous but not essential
9. Deputize for the Service Manager in their absence
What you'll need…
1. Refrigeration or HVAC experience within engineering or service background
2. Ability to prioritise workloads
3. Good computer literacy
4. Attention to detail
5. Good verbal and written communication across all levels
6. Ability to work well within a team
