Reporting to the Service Delivery Manager, the position holder will be responsible for managing procurement of IT goods/services and providing general procurement support duties such as managing IT budget, preparation of business cases, vendor management and product sourcing. In addition, the role has further responsibility aligned to management of IT processes and procedures by ensuring the IT Knowledge Base is reviewed periodically and documents up to date.
Key Responsibilities:
10. Collaborate with IT function on the procurement of goods and services, working with ERP system to ensure quotes, invoicing, creation of PO’s, goods received are all tracked and auditable.
11. Working knowledge and understanding of the principles and practices of procurement, contract administration and various forms of licensing
12. Manage interfaces between supplier management and other processes, especially service level management and corporate vendor management and/or procurement processes
13. Make decisions and judgments based on standard procedures and demonstrate analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to organise and prioritise several projects and tasks at one time
14. Communicate effectively with all levels of the organisation, and external clients, providing exemplary customer service and support.
15. Ensuring that all IT supplier processes are consistent and interface with all corporate governance requirements, processes and standard terms and conditions
16. Maintaining and reviewing IT supplier and contract data in contract management system
17. Ensure all IT contracts and suppliers comply with GDPR and ISO 27001 requirements as appropriate
18. Manage all IT purchasing and contracts in the most effective manner to ensure delivery of value for money within budget
19. Assist department management in conducting quarterly business reviews with key suppliers
20. Ensure that the IT organization is able to gather, analyse, store and share knowledge and information to improve efficiency by reducing the need of teams to rediscover knowledge. Work with the IT Service Delivery and Operations team Leads to ensure that the Knowledge base is properly maintained by the team.

21. HNC/HND or equivalent experience
22. Previous experience in an IT related procurement / administration position.
23. Excellent organisation skills
24. Excellent communication skills
