Thorn Baker is working in collaboration with a Facilities Management company who is looking to on-board an experienced Business Development Manager to support their growth within the Contract Cleaning sector.
Our client provides daily cleaning, window cleaning and a broad range of other specialist cleaning services. They are a vibrant, ambitious and forward-thinking company and they have grown their profit margins and turnover substantially over the last five years. Their current turnover is £12.5m with a growth to over £15 million in the pipeline as we enter the New Year.

The role includes but is not exclusive to;
Territory mapping in and around the North West of the Country
Conducting Field Sales to support leads
Pro-actively sourcing leads from alternative sources on-line
Counter selling against competitors
Converting new and cold business
Growing and maintaining new accounts
Supporting the Bid and Tender process
Conducting in depth presentations to prospective clients
Conducting sales calls and prospect e-mails for reach to new business
Sell our clients contract cleaning services across several sectors, including commercial, industrial, retail and education settings
In order to effectively manage this roles, candidates must demonstrate the ability to;
Conversate effectively to convert new business and build rapport with prospective clients
Demonstrate tenacity and an ability to work independently and as part of a team
Hold comprehensive understanding of bids and tenders
Successfully contribute to the companies revenue targets and pipeline
Have the skill set to implement a 360 sales cycle
Conduct site surveys, financial metrics and proposals to convert new business and grow current
