Job Description
Would you like to work in a fast-paced environment to provide excellent customer service to the public? Working in a hybrid style, based at home and in Dundee House, you will work full time, 37 hours per week.
Requirements
You will have 5 National 5’s, or equivalent; or relevant experience of working within a Customer Service Contact Centre Environment. You must be willing and able to obtain SVQ Level 3 in Customer Services or Customer Services Professional Certificate Qualification.
Responsibilities
As part of a team, you will provide an efficient, effective and high level customer service to the public. You will deal with enquiries in relation to a wide range of Council Services through telephone, face to face, email and social media.
The Individual
Are you customer focused, able to guide and assist customers through sensitive and challenging situations, comfortable and experienced using computer systems, a team player, and self-motivated? Do you have a calm disposition and an approachable manner, well-developed oral and written communication skills, an awareness of Data Protection, good attention to detail, and analytical skills? Can you work with minimum supervision, as part of a team with a flexible approach to meet business needs under pressure and prioritise your workload? You will have social awareness and empathy of the problems faced by all sections of the community. A Basic Disclosure Scotland check is required.
