Job description Cross-Hire Coordinator We are working exclusively on this role for our client who are a industry leading provider of rental solutions, powered access equipment, sales and training. The Role Effectively communicate with all drivers, the Hire Desk and Service teams to ensure an efficient and professional delivery service Support and assist colleagues through sharing of knowledge to ensure consistency of information delivered to customers Provide feedback the head of hire on high demand products to assist in capital expenditure planning and budgeting Report any opportunities and / or threats to your manager at the earliest opportunity, escalating concerns and suggestions for improvements Forward plan efficient delivery schedules ensuring maximum utilisation of the fleet of delivery vehicles Source and negotiate best value for the provision of the company's cross-hire requirements Demonstrate commercial awareness when negotiating pricing and when you are deciding the most profitable way of fulfilling the order Create and send supplier purchase orders Coordinate and administer off-hires Raise and confirm contacts Administer hire breakdowns, liaising as necessary with the suppliers Build rapport and good relationships with all new and existing suppliers, ensuring specific client policies are adhered to About you Demonstrate the company values in everything you do Respect all colleagues and customers, being polite and courteous Become involved in all department and wider company projects Passionate and willing to provide exceptional levels of customer service An excellent communicator with people at any level within an organisation A flexible approach, with a willingness and ability to look for alternative solutions Sound geographical knowledge Excellent written and verbal communication skills with impeccable telephone manner Fully computer literate Benefits Up to 28 days holidays with length of service Health care Flexible holiday scheme Life Assurance Team Profit Share Charity & Volunteering days Pension Birthday Holiday The hours of work for this position are 42.5 hours per week, Monday-Friday 8am-5.30pm.
