We’re looking for a Senior Supply Chain Planner to play a pivotal role in our growing operations team, ensuring smooth, efficient, and cost-effective production. Your Role:
As Senior Supply Chain Planner, you will be at the heart of our production process, overseeing planning, material flow, and cross-department coordination to meet production targets and customer demand. This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of key supply chain functions and drive continuous improvements while aligning with our company values.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead production planning, aligning schedules with sales forecasts and customer orders.
* Ensure material availability and inventory accuracy using ERP systems.
* Optimise resource allocation, including labour, materials, and machinery.
* Work closely with procurement, engineering, quality control, and logistics teams.
* Contribute to our Zero Waste Initiative and take part in weekly at-risk stock reviews.
* Develop and upskill the team through training, updating SOPs, and maintaining a capability matrix.
* Monitor production progress, identify bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions.
* Drive continuous improvement projects to enhance efficiency and quality.
* Mitigate risks related to production delays, equipment failures, and supply chain disruptions.
* Oversee people-related duties, including payroll, agency staffing, holiday planning, and disciplinary actions.
* Ensure accurate stock counting and reporting at month-end processing.
