Job Title: Quality Assurance Support
Location: Chester
Full Time Mon-Fri 08:30-17:00
The Quality Assurance (QA) Support plays a critical role in supporting the quality team.
This role requires attention to detail, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and strong organisational skills.
Key Responsibilities
Calibration Support:
Perform calibration of tools, instruments, and equipment to ensure accuracy and compliance with specifications.
Maintain calibration records and ensure they are up-to-date and readily available for audits.
Coordinate with external calibration service providers to ensure timely and accurate calibration schedules.Internal Audit Support:
Conducting internal audits in accordance with the business management system.
Prepare audit checklists and document audit findings in detailed reports.
Collaborate with QA team to address non-compliance issues identified during audits.Non-Conformance Support:
Support the QA team and other departments in conducting root cause analysis investigations.
Assist in driving corrective and preventive actions forward by working closely with relevant teams
Track and monitor the status of non-conformances and ensure timely resolution.General QA Support
Support with customer documentation, copying of documentation packs and preparing labels for despatch
Support with preparing certification for customer orders.
General Administration dutiesQualifications and Skills
High school or equivalent
Experience in manufacturing/engineer industry would be advantageous
Experience in quality assurance, calibration, internal auditing, or non-conformance would be advantageous
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications, particularly Word and Excel.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
