Your Role as an English Teacher:
🔹 Deliver engaging and adaptive English lessons, ensuring accessibility for all learners.
🔹 Support students with SEN, SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health needs), and behavioural challenges.
🔹 Use creative and alternative teaching methods to inspire and motivate students.
🔹 Foster a safe, structured, and supportive learning environment.
🔹 Work closely with pastoral staff, SENCOs, and external agencies to create personalised learning plans.
🔹 Encourage students to develop confidence, communication skills, and a love for literature.
🔹 Help students prepare for GCSEs, Functional Skills, and vocational pathways.
Who We’re Looking For:
✅ Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) with experience as an English Teacher.
✅ A passion for working with vulnerable students and those with SEMH needs.
✅ The ability to build strong relationships and engage students through differentiated teaching.
✅ Experience in alternative provisions, PRUs, SEN schools, or behaviour support settings (desirable).
✅ A resilient, patient, and empathetic approach to education.
✅ Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
