About The Role
As part of a team, the Group Health, Safety, Environment and Quality Systems coordinator is a key influencer who supports the business areas and key stakeholders, to continually improve health and safety standards and performance, helping us all to go home safe each day. This role reports directly to the Group Head of Health and Safety and is based at our Canterbury office.
About Your Role
* Manage, develop and act as the document controller to the Group integrated Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality management system, to specific standards of ISO 45001, 14001 and 9001.
* Provide advice including training and coaching, to employees including managers, in understanding and implementing the management system.
* Manage the Group audit programme.
* Collect and collate audit data and produce reports on the performance of the management system using proprietary software.
* Visit sites and undertake internal health and safety audits, to verify compliance and raise corrective actions where required.
* Liaise with the external auditors and businesses to ensure continued accreditation for ISO 9001, 14001, 45001.
* The role is head office based with travel to sites where required and occasional overnight stay.
We're Looking For
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for positive and professional communication to influence colleagues and stakeholders at all levels.
* Previous document control experience.
* Competent in using MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint.
* Work effectively within a team with the ability to work independently.
* Use own initiative to plan and manage workloads.
* Good analytical skills with the ability to use data as part of the decision-making process.
* A full driving license.
* A NEBOSH National Certificate in Health & Safety or equivalent would be desirable.
