Role: Trainee Pump Engineer
Location: Bedford
Salary: £24,000 to £28,000 P/A + OTE additional £3,000 - £5,000
Hours: Contracted 40 hours per week

Attega are looking for someone to join a National Pump Service & Maintenance company who are on the hunt for a Pump Assistant Engineer.
This role will involve assisting the Pump Engineer, learning about the trade, resolving mechanical problems, and being involved in the product lifecycle.
Duties for this role will include:
* Assisting the Pump Engineer ensuring all equipment is clean at all times.
* Shadowing the Pump Engineer to eventually become a lead Pump Engineer.
* Mending or making safe faulty or incorrectly performing pumps and related equipment.
* Investigating and diagnosing faults.
* Collaborating with clients to understand their specific requirements and provide customised solutions.
* Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and industry standards during all field operations.
* Delivering exceptional customer service, building strong relationships with clients.
* Working as part of a team to complete assigned projects efficiently and within deadlines.
* Keeping accurate records of work performed, including maintenance schedules, repairs, and parts used.
* Staying updated on the latest pump technologies and industry trends to enhance knowledge and skills.
* Confidently driving from site to site, working as part of a team.
* Assisting the Pump Engineer in record keeping, including the work schedule and parts used.
* Adhering to all health and safety practices at all times.
* Supporting with installations, maintenance, and repair of various types of pumps.
In return, our client is offering a basic salary of up to £28,000 P/A and various company benefits including training and professional development in hopes of becoming a lead Pump Engineer with the successful growth of the business.
It is essential for the Pump Assistant Engineer to have a full clean license and a willingness to learn and absorb as much as possible alongside the Pump Engineer.
