The Role:
We are seeking a passionate and creative Design & Technology Teacher to join a dynamic department committed to delivering engaging and high-quality lessons.
The successful candidate will:
* Teach Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 Design & Technology, with a focus on inspiring creativity and practical skills.
* Plan and deliver well-structured lessons that cater to diverse learning needs.
* Contribute to the development of an ambitious and forward-thinking DT curriculum.
* Foster a positive learning environment, encouraging students to develop technical skills and problem-solving abilities.
* Participate in departmental meetings, training, and school-wide initiatives.
Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
* Specialism in Resistant Materials, Graphics, Engineering, Product Design, or Food Technology is highly desirable.
* Strong subject knowledge and a passion for innovation in Design & Technology education.
* Experience teaching DT at the secondary level (KS3 & KS4).
* A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
* The ability to work collaboratively as part of a dedicated and supportive team.
