Job Description:
As a remote Business Development Executive, you will be integral to our sales process, focusing on converting leads into long-term clients. This role is perfect for an enthusiastic and driven individual who is ready to manage their own pipeline, host product demos, and close deals. You will be directly involved in progressing opportunities through the pipeline, ensuring that clients are engaged, informed, and ultimately, signed up.
You will have the freedom to experiment with different approaches and methods, ensuring that you find the strategies that work best for you and the business. While you won’t be required to generate leads, you will manage the demo-to-close process, reporting on your activities and outcomes to continuously improve your performance.
Responsibilities:
* Host Product Demonstrations: Lead and deliver engaging demos of our platform to prospective clients, helping them understand how we can meet their needs.
* Close Deals: Manage your own pipeline beyond the demo stage, follow up with prospects, and ensure opportunities progress to close.
* Input into Sales Process: Provide feedback on the sales process and explore new approaches that could drive success. You will have the freedom to test and adjust your strategy.
* CRM Management: Keep Salesforce CRM up to date, logging all relevant interactions, progress, and deal statuses.
* Reporting and Feedback: Report on your performance regularly, including delivered demos, challenges faced, objections encountered, and suggested improvements.
* Monthly Forecast: Provide a monthly forecast of deals you expect to close, helping the business plan and manage resources effectively.
* Customer Feedback: Feed customer feedback to the product team to help improve the platform and ensure it meets customer needs.
* Collaboration and Support: Work closely with the Head of Commercial and other team members to align on goals, share insights, and support each other’s growth.
What We're Looking For:
* Enthusiastic, driven, and hungry to prove yourself in a fast-paced, scaling business.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a natural ability to sell.
* Comfortable with keeping your admin up to date and managing your pipeline effectively.
* Able to take feedback, follow a structured sales process, and show initiative in testing and learning new sales tactics.
* Fluent in English with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Requirements:
* Either a recent graduate with no sales experience, but who is driven, enthusiastic, and passionate with a natural ability to sell. Or, someone with 1-5 years' of sales experience (preferably in digital marketing), a proven track record, and who is looking for a new opportunity to make a significant impact in a fast-growing business.
* A proven ability to manage and close sales opportunities.
* Enthusiastic about testing and refining sales techniques.
* Motivated to advance quickly and take on greater responsibility in the future.
* Excellent time management and organisational skills.
* The ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
