What you'll be doing
This role is responsible for managing our claims and chargeback processes and reporting for trading with Amazon on behalf of our group and client publishers. The role currently has one member of staff reporting into it but with growth forecast for our business we expect the team to grow and it will be the responsibility of this role to identify such growth requirements.
The role will require a strong analytical approach, with focus areas such as financial reconciliation, reporting, systems interrogation and development, implementation of automation and optimising ways of working to maximise productivity and business value.
Data extraction, report creation and process development play a very important aspect within this role.
The role will require a strong working relationship with Hachette UK internal stakeholders and our publishing clients to whom they will be providing timely and accurate reporting of monthly claims information, write backs and informing of any new developments within Amazon operations around new claim types, change in processes, client exposure and risks.
The successful candidate should have a can-do attitude with good communication skills, both written and verbal. The role requires a high degree of analytical skills, understanding of complex situations and excellent understanding of systems and processes. Candidates are expected to have excellent computer skills, specifically around data manipulation and dealing with large quantities of data.
Who we are looking for
Do you have proven experience of dealing with large amounts of data and through development of reporting and processes delivering continuous improvement? Also, a track record of building, transforming, and sustaining client relationships? If so, this is the role for you.
In addition, you will have proven capability of delivering change and ideally experience in implementing and using Power BI, Power Automate and other automation or AI tools.
With excellent leadership, negotiation, and organisational skills, you will thrive in empowering, developing and coaching others to help them achieve their potential. You will possess excellent communication skills, written and verbal, for dealing with a wide range of clients, customers, and your team. You will also have the ability to influence others and use strong analytical and problem-solving skills to provide insight and sound judgement.
You will also have strong commercial and business awareness and be able to translate strategy to action for clients, customers, and your team.
