We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Lead Learning Disabilities Physiotherapist (Grade 9) to join our dynamic healthcare team. Responsibilities
Lead and deliver high-quality physiotherapy assessments and treatment for individuals with learning disabilities.
Develop individualized treatment plans based on clinical assessments and patient needs.
Supervise and mentor junior physiotherapy staff and students.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic and comprehensive patient care.
Conduct evaluations to track patient progress and adapt treatment plans accordingly.
Provide training and workshops to enhance the skills of healthcare staff in dealing with learning disabilities.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation as per the organization's protocols.
Requirements
A relevant degree in Physiotherapy and evidence of continued professional development.
Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
Postgraduate experience in working with individuals with learning disabilities.
Strong leadership and mentoring skills with experience in supervising junior staff.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with patients and their families.
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
A commitment to evidence-based practice and a passion for improving patient outcomes.
Hours Per Week: 37.00
Start Time: 07:00
End Time: 15:00
Pay Per Hour: £12.18
Location: Monmouthshire, Wales
