Location: Aylesbury, GB
Shift pattern: Rotating shift pattern (Panama shift - 12 hour shifts – Days and Nights)

So what do our engineers actually do?
Our Engineers are problem solvers. They are responsible for maintaining and repairing the plant and equipment that allows us to create tasty, healthy, high quality products. As an Engineering technician, you will be responsible for planned preventative maintenance of the site services to ensure smooth running of the plant. Alongside your day to day, you’ll get involved in CI and project work. The main duties of a Site Services Engineer include:
* Maintaining services across the site in line with our Planned Preventative Maintenance programme, such as:
o Steam boiler, Waste Heat Boiler and CHP checks and testing in line with legal requirements
o Refrigeration plant
o Effluent Treatment Plant
o Hot & Cold water systems
o Cooling tower maintenance
o HVAC maintenance
o External lighting
* Corrective maintenance in case of site equipment failure and breakdown.
* QEHS standards maintained and where possible improved within the Services function.
* To work alongside the OEM's when services are carried out.
* Challenge current processes and practices to identify new opportunities to improve operation and efficiency.
* Conduct equipment and plant condition appraisals.
* Awareness of relevant QEHS compliance within the role such as Legionella, fire safety, PSSR, LOTO.
* Authorise permits and ensure the work is being carried out in a safe and controlled manner.
