Special Needs Tutor - Further Education
Location: Stockton
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 4:30pm
Pay: £128 per day
Contract: Temporary (Potential of permanent appointment for the right candidate).
We are seeking a dedicated Special Needs Tutor to join a specialist Further Education provision in Stockton. This full-time role offers the opportunity to support young people with special educational needs in developing their skills, confidence, and independence.
The tutor will deliver a small amount of English, employability skills, and sensory-based maths to small groups of learners. The ideal candidate will have experience working with SEN learners in a school or further education setting, an understanding of sensory learning approaches, and confidence in delivering functional English and maths. Patience, adaptability, and a passion for supporting young people are essential.
This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference, with ongoing support and professional development available. The role is initially temporary, with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate. In order to obtain the higher pay bracket, a Level 5 or equivalent qualification is required.
