This will be a busy role with lots of variety so a great opportunity for someone looking to develop a career in a Social Media marketing-based role. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing the marketing strategy of multiple catering sites (canteens and cafes) and leading the way to driving brand awareness, engagement, leads, and sales through our Instagram account ualcatering; all, executed in line with UAL brand and tone of voice. Preferably, the ideal candidate would have previous experience in the hospitality sector with a love for food; this will also provide support to the marketing manager developing mixed digital and lightweight offline contents for quarterly educational campaigns and activations on site. Reporting to the Marketing Manager, this is an exceptional opportunity to lead the online and offline communications and shape BaxterStorey brand's presence within a creative and vibrant environment. The ideal candidate would start the w/c 27 January 2025. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES Develop strategy and execute plans and campaigns to drive brand awareness, engagement, leads, and sales. Communicating with senior management about existing and new marketing activities. Evaluating and improving marketing campaigns with possible solutions to fit within budgetary constraints. Identifying measuring marketing outcomes to increase the efficiency of marketing activities within the company. Plan, create and schedule compelling creative contents for our Instagram account ualcatering. This means (copy/images/reels/graphics) that are in line with our brand ethos and target audience. Occasionally, design lightweight offline campaigns. Ensure thorough quality checks are built into your workflow to minimise error. Analyse social media metrics and adjust strategies to optimise results. Research and build relationships with communities/societies who share a similar audience for awareness generating opportunities. Stay up to date with social media trends, algorithm changes, policies, and regulations ensuring compliance in all activities and campaigns. Monitor and respond to social media comments and messages in a timely and professional manner Qualifications ABOUT YOU A total foodie, who is excited by the food industry. 1 years' experience in marketing and or social media role within food industry Experience with content creation, copywriting, and digital design. Strong understanding of social media platforms, algorithms, and best practices. Strong verbal and written communication skills with a creative edge. Ideally educated to degree level in digital or marketing discipline. Good skills in Adobe Creative Suite. Ability to take ownership of your responsibilities and to deliver at pace. Practical, organised and self-motivated. Strong attention to detail.
