We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our wellness team. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of various massage techniques and a strong knowledge of human anatomy. You will be responsible for providing high-quality therapeutic massage services to clients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction throughout each session. Your role will be pivotal in promoting relaxation, reducing stress, and enhancing overall well-being.
Duties
* Conduct thorough consultations with clients to assess their needs and preferences.
* Perform a variety of massage techniques tailored to individual client requirements, including Swedish, deep tissue, and sports massage.
* Maintain a clean and organised treatment area, ensuring all equipment is properly sanitised.
* Keep accurate records of client treatments and progress.
* Educate clients on the benefits of massage therapy and recommend follow-up treatments as necessary.
* Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in massage therapy practices.
* Adhere to all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe environment for both clients and staff.
Experience
* Proven experience as a Massage Therapist or in a similar role is preferred.
* Certification in massage therapy from an accredited institution is required.
* Strong knowledge of human anatomy and physiology is essential.
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
* A commitment to providing exceptional customer service and maintaining client confidentiality.
* Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings or weekends if required.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From £11.50 per hour
