Join Our Catering Team at Horder Healthcare
We have an exciting opportunity for a creative and passionate Chef de Partie to join our experienced catering team. Supporting the Corporate Catering Manager and Head Chef, you will be involved in the day-to-day running of the kitchen, ensuring high-quality food preparation and service, assisting with menu planning, and more. This role is perfect for someone looking to grow their career in a professional and rewarding environment.
Based at The Horder Centre, Crowborough, this is a full-time, permanent position. The work schedule includes a rotating shift pattern of 7 days on followed by 3 days off, with early shifts from 7 am to 3 pm. Weekend shifts may be required and are paid at an enhanced rate.
About You:
* City & Guilds 706 Level 2, NVQ Level 3, or equivalent, and a C.I.E.H. Level 2 Food Safety Certificate.
* Experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
* Excellent communication skills to build respectful relationships with patients and colleagues.
* Experience in menu planning and an interest in current food and dietary trends.
* Proactive, forward-thinking, with a passion for continuous learning.
