* Develop individually designed packages of care and treatment, in association with other care professionals on a multi-disciplinary basis and under the supervision of the team leader.
* Maintain and develop specialist knowledge about conditions and factors commonly associated with people who have LD, their causes, impact, and appropriate interventions.
* Report, document, and evaluate all clinical practice according to local policy (i.e., risk assessment and consent) and Nursing and Midwifery Council guidelines. When appropriate, maintain records.
* Provide current, researched education, support, and training to clients, carers, and staff to promote, inform, and teach healthy lifestyles.
* Supervise junior staff as required and input into training new staff and students.
