Holloways of Ludlow are seeking an HR Advisor and EA to help us support our people and culture and provide EA support to our Founder. Holloways of Ludlow are a leading supplier of high-end lighting and furniture. We have a network of retail stores, a successful ecommerce business, and a strong contract team. The role is based in our Ludlow operational centre.
What You'll Do:
* Be the go-to person for day-to-day HR matters, employee queries, offering advice and support where needed.
* Help manage recruitment by assisting with job postings, reviewing CVs, and helping with interviews.
* Support onboarding and offboarding, ensuring all new hires get the best welcome and exiting employees have a smooth process.
* Help with employee relations issues, providing guidance on conflict resolution and maintaining a positive workplace.
* Managing the processing of monthly payroll and pensions.
* Keep HR records up to date and in line with compliance regulations.
* Deliver HR projects that improve employee engagement and overall company culture.
* Stay on top of employment law and HR best practices to ensure we're doing things right.
* Support and champion health and safety across the business.
* Support the Founder with diary management and general administration tasks.
* Provide regular internal communications to the business through newsletters and updates helping to keep our employees informed and engaged.
What We're Looking For:
* Previous experience in HR or a similar role, this will be mostly a standalone role with senior support when needed.
* A good understanding of HR policies and procedures and employment law.
* An expert eye for detail and accuracy, proficiency in word and excel, HRIS (basic formulas, data entry, etc.)
* Strong communication skills – you're someone who enjoys helping people and explaining things clearly. You will be working with everyone across the business; confidence and friendly approachability is a must!
* A creative flair and style when sharing communication across the company to be engaging, insightful, and informative.
* Problem-solving skills – you'll need to be able to handle situations with a calm and practical approach.
* Be interested in getting the best out of people whether that be people in their current role or looking to engage new talent into the business.
* Organized and proactive – you can manage tasks and keep everything running smoothly.
* Some health and safety experience would be welcomed or an interest to grow knowledge to become a subject expert within the team.

More Details:
* The role is part-time: 3 days a week between 15-20 hours but we are flexible for the right candidate.
* Salary will be subject to experience.
