Assistant Accountant Blisworth, Northamptonshire £30,000 per annum, Plus Pension, Study Support, BUPA Medical Cash Plan, Life Assurance, 30 Days' Holiday inclusive of Bank Holidays (rising with service) We are growing our accountancy team due to ongoing business expansion, due to this we are recruiting for an experienced Assistant Accountant to join our team in Blisworth. We are now looking for an Assistant Accountant to join our team and help us to continue to do things the right way for customers, colleagues and the planet. The role You will work as part of the finance team to prepare weekly and monthly management accounts You will be responsible for managing the Sales and Purchase ledger; cashbook transactions, query resolution, preparation and review of reconciliations Supporting with internal audits for the depots you will support Provide business support ensuring deadlines and timescales are met Have weekly calls with the depots to ensure forecasting and budgets are set and accurate You will help to prepare the wages journals & support with agency staff PO's You will ensure all finance processes comply with fiscal, legal and group control and compliance frameworks Experience & Skills The ideal candidate will be QBE or working towards a qualification in ACCA, ACA or CIMA or AAT Previous experience within a similar role Excellent IT skills including MS Excel Great communications skills/ability to relay key information to colleagues and internal/ external customers Benefits we offer Study support for accountancy qualification Company Pension BUPA medical Cash Plan Scheme Life Assurance Perkbox Coaching, training and clear career progression Cycle to work scheme Wellbeing support via our Employee Assistance Scheme And Much More Olleco is an Equal Opportunities Employer.
