Based at the Institute for Manufacturing in West Cambridge, we are looking for a part-time Research Coordinator to support the Principal Investigator and research team in the delivery of the UK-India Critical Mineral Supply Chain Observatory Project. This project aims to advance research in critical mineral supply chains between the UK and India.
You will manage the administrative, financial, and logistical aspects of the project, directly contributing to the project's success and alignment with departmental (including IfM and Industrial Resilience Research Group) research goals in sustainability, resilience and global supply chains. You will handle all travel and logistical arrangements for the research team, both in the UK and India, ensuring that all expenses and procurement processes adhere to the university's policies and funding body requirements.
The successful candidate will educated to HND/HNC, Level 4/5 vocational qualifications or possess an equivalent level of practical experience. You will be an experienced user of Microsoft Office with excellent communication skills. Previous experience of working with a supply chain research group and an India-UK partnership project is a requirement for this role as well as previous administrative experience within the Institute for Manufacturing.
