Role Summary The Finance Operations Assistant is responsible for supporting the day-to-day financial operations within Tedaisy whilst improving financial practices and procedures to ensure adherence to financial regulations and legislation Responsibilities Payment Processing & Reconciliation: Assist with processing payments, direct debit collections, refunds, and reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy Customer Financial Support: Help manage customer financial interactions, including handling queries related to payments, failed transactions, and outstanding balances Claims & Financial Adjustments: Support the processing of financial transactions related to claims, refunds, and indemnity payments in line with company policies Compliance & Process Adherence: Ensure all financial activities comply with internal controls, industry regulations, and company policies Financial Reporting & Data Management: Assist in generating financial reports, maintaining accurate records, and supporting data analysis for business insights Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams such as Customer Services, Retentions, and Claims to facilitate smooth financial operations Administrative Support: Help maintain financial documentation, update internal systems, and perform general administrative duties as needed Experience, Qualifications & Skills Previous experience in Finance Operations or similar is desirable Strong communication skills and the ability to handle customer financial queries professionally Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment High attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills Maths GSCE or equivalent
