This post is an important part of fundraising helping to ensure that we meet ambitious fundraising targets for the hospitals. The post holder must have good evidence of administrative experience telephone manner and must be a motivated, organised and caring individual with excellent IT skills to support the organisation and our fundraisers. Excellent computing skills with MS Excel, administration experience and an organised outlook are required.

The charity is a small team that consists of Head of Charity, Digital Fundraiser, Fundraising Assistant and volunteers
· A high degree of attention to detail is required in the management of lottery and hub sales as any inaccuracy could breach licencing law and financial returns.
· Be personally responsible for increasing lottery sign up and the day to day running of the supporters and conduct the monthly draw in line with lottery regulations followed by arranging winner presentations.
· The lead point of contact for donors and fundraisers by email, letter or over the phone. Providing them with advice and support where necessary and ensure all donors receive a letter of thanks.
· Act as a Charity representative with volunteers and establish a volunteer database to support the charity hub, fundraising events and large participation activities.
· Maintaining up-to-date filing systems, both manual and electronic as appropriate. Undertaking any other duties commensurate with the general level of responsibility of the post.
• Provide stock data for the charity hub and compile the daily figures to support supply orders and banking
• Work with the Fundraising Team at events including on and off site activities, this would include, in some cases, set up and take down.
• Meet with members of the public, patients and their relatives in a knowledgeable and sensitive manner to ensure a feeling of confidence in order to sign-post to the correct area of fundraising.
• Be knowledgeable to ensure compliance of relevant charity legislation, policies and procedures, Fundraising Regulator’s Codes of Practice and the latest GDPR regulations and Gambling Registration and law.
