Hours: Full-time (37 hours per week, including 24 teaching hours)
Salary: GBP26,148 - GBP41,058 (depending on experience)
Contract Type: Permanent
Additional Incentives: Up to GBP6,000 "Golden Hello" incentive (subject to eligibility)

The Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic Motor Vehicle Lecturer (MGL) to join our team at the Longbridge Campus. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about teaching and training the next generation of motor vehicle professionals.
Key Responsibilities
1. Deliver engaging theory and practical lessons up to NVQ Level 3 in Motor Vehicle studies.
2. Lead on the Apprenticeship Programme and Full Cost Recovery training.
3. Provide academic and pastoral support to students, setting targets and tracking their progress.
4. Collaborate with parents, guardians, schools, and industry stakeholders.
5. Design and implement lesson plans, schemes of work, and learning resources.
6. Ensure high-quality teaching and assessment in line with college standards.
7. Engage in student assessments using a range of techniques and tools.
8. Support students in developing study skills and exam techniques.
9. Participate in enrolment, induction, open days, and marketing events.
10. Stay up to date with industry and educational developments, including new technologies and T Levels.
What We're Looking For
Essential:
1. Teaching qualification (Certificate in Education, PGCE, or equivalent) or willingness to work towards it.
2. NVQ Level 3 or Advanced Certificate in a relevant Motor Vehicle trade area.
3. Experience teaching up to and including Level 3.
4. Strong communication, presentation, and organisational skills.
5. IT proficiency, including the use of Microsoft Office and ILT in teaching.
Desirable:
1. Knowledge of learning theory and differentiation strategies.
2. Experience supporting learners with additional needs or complex requirements.
3. Familiarity with inspection and audit requirements, including internal and external verification activities.
