About the Role In the role of Shift manager, you will be responsible for the operation of all Extrusion lines and Compounding operation for your given shift, with a focus on Safety, Quality, Delivery Cost and Morale. You will collaborate effectively with peer groups to meet or exceed production targets with a focus on Continuous Improvement utilising Lean tools such as 5s. You will be accountable for shift team briefings, training and development, performance and absence management. Salary: 49,822.80 per annum (inclusive of shift allowance) Shifts : We operate a Panama style shift pattern which are 12 hours long and inclusive of day and night shifts and weekend working. About You: You will be an experienced manager with a proven track record in developing high performing teams within a 24/7 manufacturing environment. We are looking for an individual with a mindset of Continuous Improvement and Lean Manufacturing and utilising these techniques within a production environment. You will have a strong H&S acumen with experience of implementing systems and procedures such as Risk Assessments, Safe Systems of Work and Standard Operating Procedures.
