Pay Rate: £11.44 per hour
Contract Type: Temp to Perm
Location: Old Dalby, Leicestershire (Own transport required due to limited public transport availability)
Job Description:
Are you passionate about textiles and print production? We are looking for a Production Operative to join our team.
This role is ideal for someone with an eye for detail, a hands-on approach, and a keen interest in textile printing and manufacturing. You will play a key role in ensuring high-quality production and maintaining efficiency across various textile printing processes.
Ideal Skills and Experience:
Previous experience in textile printing or a manufacturing environment (preferred but not essential)
Strong attention to detail with the ability to spot quality issues
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Willingness to learn and develop new skills
Basic knowledge of textile production machinery and tools (training provided)
Key Responsibilities:
Operating textile printing machinery (screen printing, digital printing, heat transfer, etc.)
Preparing fabrics and materials for printing
Conducting quality control checks on printed textiles, identifying defects or inconsistencies
Mixing and applying dyes, inks, and other materials as needed
Maintaining and cleaning print equipment to ensure optimal performance
Assisting with fabric cutting, pressing, and finishing processes
Keeping work areas tidy and adhering to health & safety regulations
Hours of Work:
Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
