We are looking for a dynamic, energetic, self-motivated individual to join our expanding Acquisitions team. The purpose of this position is to identify, appraise and deliver existing and potential car parks across the UK in a fast-paced flexible model. To create, grow and convert a strong pipeline of new opportunities, ensure strong relationships with key stakeholders both internally and externally. This is a field-based role that will see you out on the roads for much of the week, as well as based out of one of our NCP offices. There is also the flexibility to work from home where necessary.
What you'll be doing as a Business Development Manager:
1. Identification and delivery of new car parks to the business, either from existing competitor sites or through negotiation and development opportunities.
2. Ensure growth of the estate/assets through site acquisition, ensuring any new business delivers set hurdle rates for capital investment.
3. Deliver set targets for the opening of new car parks from within the area.
4. Build, maintain and manage a robust pipeline of opportunities, including a detailed sales process, contact, and activity database.
5. Work effectively within the national frameworks to ensure local activity complements and leverages national campaigns.
6. Monitor local competitor activity and use it to develop appropriate strategies to maximise acquisition potential.
