1. A small animal and equine practice in South Yorkshire with good access to beautiful countryside and major regional cities.
2. The small animal department is a general first opinion practice that works on surgical and internal medicine cases to a high level.
3. They have a second small animal branch surgery which is a 25-minute drive from the main centre.
4. They are training as a VetGDP Adviser practice and are well equipped with digital radiography, colour doppler ultrasound, endoscopy, dentistry facilities, and an in-house laboratory.
Team : Their very experienced small animal team includes 2 full-time veterinary surgeons, 1 part-time veterinary surgeon, and 1 mixed small animal and equine veterinary surgeon. they work with a very experienced and friendly support staff team, which includes 4 Registered Veterinary Nurses, 1 student veterinary nurse, 1 animal care assistant, 5 receptionists, 2 office assistants, and a Practice Manager.
Role : Our clients' team is expanding and is looking for a full or part-time Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon to join their friendly team.
Hours :
5. The role is full or part-time - up to 40 hours over 4 or 5 days.
6. There is a rota for 1:4 Sundays for small animal consults, no OOH.

Applicant Requirements:
8. They are looking for an enthusiastic, friendly, well-organised, and self-motivated Veterinary Surgeon with previous clinical experience.
9. Good communication skills are essential, as well as the ability to work well within the team.
10. They encourage and support their colleagues' desire to develop interests in all areas of first-opinion small animal practice.
Salary : The salary will be up to £70,000 p/a depending on experience.
