Insight Executive Group are delighted to be working with a FM company who are looking for a Technical Manager to join the Accounts Team.
As a Technical Manager, you will be a member of the Account team whose main aim is to deliver agreed services to their clients with the utmost standard and efficiency, whilst maintaining and delivering all cost lines. You will support this purpose by providing technical quotations and delivery of minor works while offering technical support and guidance to support the management of contracts, ensuring they run smoothly and efficiently and driving continuous improvement.
They provide complete nationwide coverage across the full spectrum of Hard FM services to large, commercial clients. Their team of mobile engineers is supported by the account teams at Head Office to provide both reactive breakdown and planned maintenance services to our clients.
Day-to-day of the Technical Manager:
1. Produce technical quotations and assessments while assuring the quality of information received by site engineers for submission to the clients.
2. Manage the delivery of quoted works within your client base, end to end, with the support of contract administration staff.
3. Manage the safety of quoted works with Risk Assessments and other relevant documentation.
4. Support with responses to questions and requests for information - internally and/or externally.
5. Drive Minor Works through existing infrastructure to facilitate delivery and completion of Minor Works throughout the assigned accounts.
6. Review WIP reports across the client base to identify and produce quotes for our customers on HVAC work.
The Successful Technical Manager will be able to demonstrate:
1. Minimum 7 years previous experience as a HVAC engineer (Commercial gas / AC).
2. Minimum 3 years as Technical Manager.
3. Broad technical knowledge across other disciplines.
4. Technical Qualifications (F-Gas/Gas Safe/NICEIC/Building Services).
5. Safety Qualifications (CSCS/IOSH/NEBOSH/Risk Assessment).
Desirable:
1. HNC/HND in Building Services.
2. Technical awareness.
3. ILM - team leader.

Hours & Location of Work:
40 hours per week, Monday - Friday. Based at their Head Office in Salford, Manchester.
