Candidates should have experience in dealing with clients/suppliers/merchants on the phone and face to face.
Key Responsibilities
* Identifying materials required
* Liaising with engineers and contract team
* Working with supply chain partners
* Source, purchase, and manage inventory for parts, tools, and equipment required for maintenance operations
* Process purchase orders and ensure timely approvals
* Track shipments and resolve any issues related to delays, damaged goods, or incorrect orders
Skills & Experience
* Proven experience in a procurement, purchasing, or inventory management role within the maintenance or industrial sector
* Strong knowledge of procurement best practices, supplier negotiations, and inventory control
* Proficiency in using procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
* Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with suppliers and internal teams
* Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure to meet deadlines.
* Familiarity with maintenance, repair, and operational (MRO) supplies is advantageous
