As a Senior Project Accountant, you will be critical in managing financial reporting, forecasting, and budgets, and ensuring the smooth financial operation of high-impact projects.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Preparing monthly project accounts, ensuring financial and commercial reporting deadlines are met.
2. Providing regular commercial analysis regarding expenditures, commitments, and contract performance to support the Project Team.
3. Tracking cost recovery, resolving commercial issues, and optimising cash collection.
4. Ensuring accurate and timely client invoicing, working closely with project management.
5. Identifying and pursuing opportunities for revenue growth and cost minimisation to enhance contract margins.
6. Offering commercial support for tenders, contract reviews, and new business proposals.
Required Skills and Experience:
1. Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
2. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel, with experience using Oracle or similar ERP systems.
3. Strong budgeting, forecasting, and month-end reporting experience.
4. Excellent attention to detail, communication skills, and commercial knowledge.
5. Proven ability to work effectively under pressure and as part of a team.
6. Previous experience in a similar role, ideally within the oil and gas sector.
